I initially had my 02 Montero Sport towed to Honest -! Auto Care to have the timing belt replaced, Further investigation by Mani and his crew revealed the timing belt had jumped a tooth meaning a high probability of engine internal damage (interference engine) what was going to be a routine timing belt change had suddenly become somewhat complicated$$$. Long story short I purchased a used engine, had it shipped to Honest-1 Auto-Care in care of Mani. Because of the holidays the engine was delayed a week from arriving, they were cool with that, they removed the old engine while waiting and prepped the truck so it would be ready for new engine to install. The mechanics in this shop were fast and efficient, and knowledgeable. I came in one afternoon after the engine had arrived to see where they were at with replacing some items on the purchased used engine. Tony one of the service managers tells me , they are road testing your truck, I was really surprised at the efficiency of this shop. I have been driving the truck to work now for about two weeks, no problems. It is very hard to find a good and Honest repair shop in south Florida that will not rip you off and will work with you in pricing, Honest-1 Auto Care in Davie, Florida is one shop that is why I give this organization a five star rating. I have future projects lined up for Honest-1 Auto Care. My 89 Honda Prelude with 2.0 engine needs a timing belt replacement and other work.
